Welcome to our introduction page. Tyrodal Carriage Dogs,Siamese Cats and Llamedos Showjumpers - Carriage Horses & Racing Cars! Here is a brief history.

I got my first Dalmatian in 1968, at just 11 years old. He was a fine introduction to the breed, a grandson of Ch. Postchaise Minstrel. I started showing him in 1972 and the bug had bitten!

Postchaise, owned by Eddie Davies in Wales, was a world famous Dalmatian Kennel of the post war period and produced many beautiful dogs. The photographs of these old Champions still have a great influence on me and my idea of the ideal Dalmatian.

Other Kennels that have influenced me over the years for their Dalmatians of true workman like conformation combined with pure elegance were Delvallie, Ilyricum and the world famous Greenmounts. The dogs that influenced most were - Ch.Tantivvey Illyricum Pyrus, Ch.Gwen of the Wells, Ch.Cabaret Copyright, his son, Ch.Postchaise Turpins Shadow & Ch.Greenmount Golden Guinea These influences have helped with the making of Tyrodal and the Dalmatians so typical of this affix. (see pics below)

I was a dog trainer at our local obedience class, during the time I was working Tyrodal Tribal Warrior, and so, have a great enthusiasm for the working abilities of the Dalmatian and would like to see huge support for the Carriage & Road Dog Trials!  And I have been a dog groomer for 25 years, I am currently studying, Advanced Nutrition for Dogs and Cats, so as you can see, dogs really are my life! its probably genetic! my grand father bred Cockers & Poms! And even Kelly is a member of the National Association of Registered Petsitters, so working with animals is in her blood too!

In 2004 we added Siamese cats to the Tyrodal affix, I have always loved Siamese and could not put off having them any longer ! (well, life's too short ! )

We also have a love for the Danish Knabstrupper spotted horse. We have a breeding program well underway! so do checkout our horse pages!

The story continues........!!!

Best Wishes,
Julie Evans

The dogs & kennels of the past that influenced me with their close adherence to the standard that depicts the perfect working conformation - Bone, Substance, Wide Thigh for correct muscle development and strength of rear movement!!
