NATIONAL CHAMPION OF CHAMPIONS SINGLES Congratulations to Clockhouse's Rebecca Smith (pictured with President Margaret Lough) who is the National Champion of Champions Singles winner. She beat Oxfordshire's Katherine Hawes 21-15 in the final after wins of 21-13, 21-11, 21-18 and 21-19 in the preceding rounds.

HOME INTERNATIONALS Gail Hunter (Gt Baddow), Manager of the England Junior Team, will be playing in the Catherine Popple rink in the Home International series at the Belmont BC, Belfast commencing Tuesday 17 June. In the Under 25 Home International series being staged at Penarth on Sunday & Monday 20/21 July, Rebecca Smith and Gemma Barnett of Clockhouse BC have both been selected. 16 year old Serena Madgewick (Drums) has been selected for the Uner 18 Test Series against Scotland to be held at Carlisle in September. Serena will play No. 2 in the Triples and No. 2 in the Fours.
