Is it one of those pyramid schemes?
No. It's a simple, legal, ethical, fun & lucrative business system, that is now
being used by companies like Virgin, Cable and Wireless, Sprint and many other
top 'traditional' companies. Products and services are passed directly from the
manufacturer to the consumer, bypassing all the middlemen. The savings are paid
to teams of distributors in the form of bonuses and retail profit.

What is Network Marketing?
Have you ever been to a great movie or a great restaurant and told a friend
about it? That's called word-of-mouth advertising. Businesses love word-of-mouth
advertising because it's much more effective than any other form of advertising,
promotion, or marketing.
Network marketing is a way for a business to leverage the power of word-of-mouth
advertising.
Here is a hypothetical example. Suppose you recommend a great restaurant to your
sister. She and her husband make a reservation for dinner and, during the meal,
the waiter asks them how they heard about the restaurant. They mention your
name. How would you feel if the owner of the restaurant sent you a thank you
letter and a coupon for a free meal in appreciation of your recommendation? It
would probably make you feel wonderful.
The restaurant owner also explains in his letter that because of your
recommendation, the restaurant has gained a new long-term customer. This
customer didn't eat at the restaurant as the result of an advertisement in the
Yellow Pages, the radio or newspaper campaign. Therefore, the owner wants to
reward you for this new word-of-mouth customer. Anytime your sister visits his
restaurant in the future, he will send you a cheque for 10% of the value of the
meal as a continuing thank-you. Sure enough, every several months you receive a
small thank-you cheque. You're so impressed that you encourage others to visit
the restaurant. This generates more free-meal coupons plus more 10%
word-of-mouth cheques. After a year, you are receiving several small cheques
each month.
After several years you have helped to create dozens of monthly customers and
that generates hundreds of pounds of extra, no-hassle income to you. That would
be nice, wouldn't it? Businesses spend up to 50% of the price of their goods on
advertising and marketing expenses. Instead of spending on advertising in
newspapers, magazines, and television stations, several smart businesses have
begun to share this money with their best customers. Every time one of their
best customers influences someone to buy one of their products, they send this
loyal customer a sort of referral fee.

Am I too late? Is it one of those things where you have to get in early?
Not at all, in fact the company is just getting established in the UK and is
looking to expand from £37m to £100m turnover in the next five years. Awareness
of Aloe Vera is on the rise - just look at the number of advertisements on
television for mainstream products now containing Aloe Vera.

How much does it cost to get involved? Do I have to invest lots of money?
It costs nothing to get involved. There is no registration or annual fee, you
just need to try a small amount of product - you can't recommend something
you've never tried yourself! Your initial order you make must be for a minimum
of £100 wholesale and any subsequent orders £50- just like cash-and-carry.

Is it selling?
If you like selling, you can concentrate on retailing the products. However,
most people concentrate on coaching others on how to build their own teams,
using the products themselves and just recommending the products to a handful of
people they know will be happy with them.

Will I have to quit my present job?
No. 90% of people starting their Network Marketing career do so on a very
part-time basis. 7 - 10 hours a week is normal. As your Network Marketing income
grows, build up a reserve of funds for yourself. Then, when your Networking
income outstrips your salary, you can re-evaluate your position. That way you
have security and an income while you learn and develop your new business.

How much time does it take?
There is no precise answer to this but you should plan to spend at least 7 - 10
hours a week during the first few months. You can devote more time if you wish,
as your circumstances allow. In the first few months, most of your time is used
to learn about the business, to develop your customer base and to identify a few
key people who want to join your team. In the later months, your time is
leveraged through the efforts of other people. This begins to build up your
residual passive income-base.

I don't know anything about Aloe Vera or Network Marketing
